Ingredients:
Ingredients:
5 same sized red bell peppers

Marinade:
2 cloves crushed garlic
1/4 tsp mustard powder
1/4 tsp sugar
1/4 C vinegar
1/4 C olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Place peppers in glass baking dish. Broil, blackening each side (turn 1/4 turn as side blacken). Watch the peppers; it takes about 5 minutes or less per side to blacken.

While peppers are cooking, whisk the marinade ingredients together.

Remove from oven and cool to room temperature

Remove skin (it will peel right off). Clean out stem and seeds. Cut into 2" triangles. Place into shallow serving dish and pour marinade over the peppers. Put peppers in refrigerator to let flavors mingle.

Serve the peppers at room temperature. The peppers taste better the longer they sit in the marinade.

These peppers are great on hunks of nice crunchy Italian bread.
