2 cps. chicken broth
1 cp. water
1 cp. milk
1 cp. grits
1/2 tsp. each of salt and pepper
3 Tbsp. butter
1 cp. shredded cheddar cheese
1 lb. uncooked, peeled shrimp
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 green onions, chopped
1 tsp. Cajun seasoning
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. parsley flakes
1 Tbsp. plain flour

Directions:
In large saucepan, bring milk, 1 cp. chicken broth and water to boil. Stir in grits and salt. Reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook 7-8 min., stirring occasionally. When thickened, remove from heat and stir in butter and cheddar cheese. Saute shrimp in bacon grease until pink. Add onions, garlic, lemon juice, parsley and seasoning and sauté 3 min. Stir in flour, pepper and remaining cup of broth. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add bacon pieces. Serve over grits and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. A truly devine traditional southern dish!
