1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup cold butter, cut in pieces
2 egg yolks
2 tsp. milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla
4 apples, peeled, cored and sliced

Streusel: 3/4 cup sugar
2 T. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 T. butter, cut into pieces

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and butter. Blend with pastry blender. In a small bowl beat egg yolks. Add vanilla and milk. Add egg mixture to dry ingredients. Press dough on bottom and up sides of greased glass cake pan. Arrange apple slices on top of crust. In separate bowl, combine streusel ingredients and blend with pastry blender. Sprinkle over apple slices. Bake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
