1 package dry yeast
¼ C. water

½ C. milk
¼ butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt

3-3½ C. sifted flour
2 beaten eggs

1 C. sifted powdered sugar
1½ tbsp. milk
¼ tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in warm water.

Combine milk, butter, sugar, and salt; cool to lukewarm. Add 1 C. flour, beat well. Stir in softened yeast and eggs. Add enough flour to make moderately stiff dough.

Knead about 8-10 minutes. Place in greased bowl.Cover and let rise 1¼ hour. Punch down and rise for 10 minutes.

Prepare dough to 14 inch circle. Place glass in center. Cut circles in 4 sections. Cut each section in 5 strips. Take 2 strips and crisscross. Pinch ends to seal. Continue around circle. Remove glass, coil one crisscross loosely in circle and place in center. Bring remaining sets up loosely in circle and place in center. Let rise till double in bulk 45 min.

Bake in 375º oven. While warm spoon jam into the center of each daisy.
