1 cake or package of dry yeast
½ C. lukewarm water
¾ C. milk scalded
¼ c. sugar
3 tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 egg slightly beaten
3½ C. sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix thoroughly.
Knead for several minutes.
Set in warm place until double in bulk.
Punch down.
Shape into rolls.
Let rise again.
Bake in 425 oven.
