2 cakes yeast or packages
2 C. of lukewarm water

½ C. sugar
¼ C. melted shortening or ½ stick of margarine
1 egg beaten

6½- 7 C. flour
1½ tsp. salt

Combine in separate bowl:
½ C. sugar
¼ C. melted shortening or ½ stick of margarine

Combine in separate bowl:
6½- 7 C. flour
1½ tsp. salt

Combine wet ingredients slowly add in dry ingredients.
Refrigerate overnight. Knead on board, cut, and make rolls.
