1½ cups sugar
3 eggs
2 sticks margarine or butter softened
1½ tsp baking soda
1½ cream of tartar
4½ cups sifted flour (level)
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp vanilla or anise
2 tbsp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients. Roll thin and cut into desired shapes. Bake at 350 º. Watch very closely while baking because they brown quickly.
