2 T sugar
12 to 1 tsp cinnamon
8 oz can Pillsbury Refrigerated Quick Crescent Dinner Rolls
1 large apple, peeled, cored and cut into 8 slices
Sauce:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/2 tsp almond extract
1 egg
1/2 cup sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven 375º.
Combine sugar and cinnamon.
Separate dough into 8 triangles.
Sprinkle sugar mixture on each, pressing it into the dough.
Place an apple slice on wide end of each and roll up.
Put in ungreased 9 inch round pan, seam side down.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
In small bowl, using wire whisk, combine 1/2 cup sugar, whipping cream, extract and egg until well blended.
Sprinkle with almonds and more cinnamon if desired.
Bake for 13 to 18 minutes more.
