1 deep dish pie shell – bake 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes

2 cups brown sugar
2 cups milk
3 eggs yolks
3 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Mix with a whisk

2. Add about 1/2 cup of the milk, butter, and egg yolks. Mix until combine.

3. Heat rest of the milk till it is hot but not boiling.

4. Add the Brown Sugar mixture. Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Stir regularly until thick. ( I stir the whole time to prevent burning on the bottom)

5. Add Vanilla extract. Whisk till all combined.

6. Pour into the baked pie shell and cool.

7. Top with whip cream or Nutriwhip.
