Ingredients:  
Cubed steak (choose a good cut and cut into pieces)
salt and pepper to taste
self-rising flour
oil-heated to 325 degrees
1 cup of milk

Directions:
Directions:
Season meat with salt and pepper and lightly coat with flour. In a small amount of oil, fry cubed steak pieces, approximately 3 minutes per side. Place steak pieces on paper towel. Add small amount of oil to pan drippings. Heat and add 3 to 4 tablespoons of flour. Cook until lightly brown, stirring constantly. Do not burn flour. Add additional salt and pepper to taste. Add 1 cup of milk and cook until thickened. Thin with water, if too thick.
