3 lb. leg of lamb,cubes ( 8 lb. leg almost 6 lbs.)
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil for browning
2 big potatoes, sliced thin
4 medium onions, sliced
1 1/2 c. Rice
2 large zucchini, sl
More salt and pepper
2 1/2 t. Cumin powder
Large can ( 28 oz.) tomatoes
2 pkg. frozen artichoke hearts, partly defrosted

Directions:
Directions:
Brown lamb in olive oil. Remove. Brown sliced onions. Put in two layers in greased casserole in order given. Push artichoke hearts into tomataoes on top. Cover. Bake in medium oven (350 degrees) for two hours or a little more ( test meat for doneness) and add water I found needed. Let sit at least 20 minutes before serving.
