1-1/2 cups sugar
1 cup sour milk
1/2 cup oleo*
1/2 tsp. salt
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup mashed bananas
1 cup walnuts
2-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, oleo and egg yolks. Add bananas, sifted ingredients, mixed alternately with the sour milk to which baking soda has been added. Add the nuts and vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.

Sour milk
Add 2 tablespoons vinegar or lemon juice to a cup of milk to make it sour.

*I always use butter, not oleo.
