6 eggs (well beaten)
1½ cups sugar
1½ cups white karo syrup
⅛ tsp slt
4½ tsp melted shortening
2½ tsp vanilla
1½ cups chopped pecans
2 deep dish pie shells

1. beat eggs in large bowl
2. Add everything else to the eggs and pour into pie shells
3. bake at 325º for 45 minutes to 1 hour
