2 lbs. ground beef
1 cup of bread crumbs or crackers
¼ cup of chopped onion
1 egg beaten slightly
2 tsp of salt
1/3 cup of milk
½ cup chopped green pepper (optional)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of onion soup

Directions:
Directions:
Place meat in bowl. Add all other ingredients and mix lightly. Shape into a loaf. Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 40 minutes. Mix both soups with approximately 1 can of water in a mixing bowl and blend until smooth. Remove meatloaf from oven and cover about ⅔ with gravy mixture. Cover dish and replace in oven. Bake for about 15-20 minutes.

This was one of my favorite dishes Grandmother made. I absolutely hate mushrooms but love this dish. Each time I stayed with them I begged her to make this meatloaf.
