1/2 cup small marshmallows
1 small package lime Jello
1 cup boiling water
1 small package cream cheese (or 1/2 of 8 oz pack)
1 small can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Small container Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve jello and marshmallows in boiling water. Then add cream cheese. Stir until melted. Add pineapple, nuts and Cool Whip.

When Mom prepared a holiday meal she always made a "green salad". That salad was a tradition. Her recipe was long and complicated, and in later years we found a version that was much easier to make. This salad is still a family tradition for holidays -only easier!
