4 large baking potatoes
⅔ cup butter
⅔ cup all-purpuse flour
6 cups milk
¾ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
12 slices of bacon, cooked, crumbled, and divided
4 green onions, chopped and divided
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
8oz sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
1. Wash potatoes: prick several times with a fork. Bake at 400º for 1 hour or until done; cool.
2. Cut potatoes in half lengthwise; scoop out and reserve pulp. Discard shells.
3. Melt butter in sauce pan over low heat;add flour, stiring until smooth. cook 1 minute
4. Gradually add milk ;cook over medium heat stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly
5. Stir in potato, salt, pepper, 1/2 bacon, 2 T green onions, and 1 cup cheese
6. Cook until thoroughly heated (not a boil)
7. Stir in sour cream; cook just until heated (do not boil) serve with remaining bacon, green onions and cheese.
