2 bags pop corn or puffs

2 sticks margarine
2 cups brown sugar
1/3 cup light Karo syrup
1/3 cup peanut butter

1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Bring margarine,brown sugar,karo and peanut butter to a fast boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla. Drizzle over corn and bake one hour at 225º stirring every 15 minutes.

Sounds liek an easy recipe but I am unsure of how mcuh popcorn is needed or what puffs are exactly. Cant tell whose handwriting this is but it has Mary's name on it.
