1 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk
2 c cold heavy cream
1 c cold 1% milk
4 tsp root beer extract
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Whisk all ingredients together. Churn in ice cream maker. Turn churned ice cream into a freezer container and freeze overnight, or a minimum of 4 hours.

Delicious, but a touch on the sweet side. I was going to try a mix of sweetened condensed and condensed milk next time. Also, I used the very concentrated flavours in the tiny bottles, and it took almost one bottle.

Carina's note: if you cut back the vanilla, you can cut the rootbeer flavour a little and it's still a stronger note.
