½ Tbsp Salt
2 tsp. Soda
3 Cups Sugar
3½ Cups Flour
1½ tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 Cup Cooking Oil
4 Eggs, added one at a time
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 Cups Pumpkin
1 Cup Raisins
1 Cup Pecans

Sift first 6 ingredients together. Add remaining ingredients. Bake in four 1 pound coffee cans. Fill to ½ full or use a Bundt Pan. Grease and flour pan well. Bake 1 hour at 300º
