Base: Mix together until crumbly:
1 package yellow cake mix
⅓ cup softened butter or margarine
1 egg, beaten

Filling: Mix following ingredients thoroughly.

1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. chopped pecans
½ C. Heath© Bits O Brickle
1 C. flaked coconut (optional)


Directions:
Directions:
1. Gently press base mixture in a greased 9 X 13 inch baking pan.
2. Spread the filling mixture on top of the base.
3. Bake at 350º F. until edges start to brown (watch closely after baking 30 minutes to prevent burning)

Yield: 36 bars
(2 bars = 332 calories)
