3 eggs (slightly beaten)
¼ cup sugar
¼ tsp salt
2 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredient, less the vanilla into a double boiler.
Cook over hot water (not boiling).
Stir constantly, occasionally lifting the spoon to to see if it coats the spoon.
When the coating turns white on the back of the spoon you are done.
Add vanilla after cooled.
Pour into dessert dishes and sprinkle with nutmeg.
