1 lb lean stew beef cut into small bite-sized pieces
1 small diced onion (if desired)
2 cans (14.5 oz) of petite diced tomatoes - with green chilies
2 cans (16 oz) Bush's Chili Beans - select the type of bean you prefer (black, pinto, kidney). Also, select the heat level you prefer - mild, medium or hot. Feel free to mix up beans and heat to find what you like.
Salt / pepper
Cumin and chili powder

Directions:

Brown the beef and onion.
Open all cans and dump in - do NOT drain the beans
Add more tomatoes if you think it is too thick.
Season to taste.
Simmer over low heat for at least an hour.
Can be transferred to a crock pot for longer simmer.

Easy double, change or modify the recipe to your preferences. I typically use black beans and kidney beans together.
