6 ounces dried bow tie pasta
12 ounces fresh sweet or hot Italian sausage links
1 medium onion chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
1 large green pepper chopped
1 large red pepper chopped
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
2/3 cups chicken broth
1 Tablespoon fresh basil or 1 teaspoon dried & crushed basil
2 teaspoons corn starch
1 large fresh tomato chopped

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to directions. Drain and keep warm.
2. In large skillet cook the sausage, onion and garlic for 5 minutes
3. Add peppers and mushrooms.
4. Cook about 5 minutes longer or until sausage is brown and drain fat.
5. Combine broth, basil and cornstarch.
6. Add to sausage mixture and cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
7. Cook and stir for 2 more minutes
8. Stir in tomato and heat through
9. Pour sausage mixture over pasta and toss to mix.
