1 egg
1 C bread crumbs
1 C milk
1 1/2 lbs ground meat
1/2 C chopped onions
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 Tb worchester sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl beat egg slightly. Mix in remaining ingredients thoroughly.

Spread mixture in ungreased loaf pan or shape into loaf on ungreased shallow pan. After it bakes for 1 hour mix 1/2 cup chile sauce or ketchup with 2 tbs. brown sugar and brush on top and sides of loaf. Bake for another 1/2 hr. Brush several times with mix.

From Judy Graves. I bake for 40 min. in the gas stove and then brush on the topping for 20 min. to an internal temp of 160 degrees.
