Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 c flour, plus more
1/2 t quick rising yeast
1 1/4 t salt
1 1/2 c very warm (not boiling) water

Directions:
Directions:
Into a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast and salt. Pour in the hot water and combine well using a rubber spatula. Using filtered water helps with rising process. The dough will be sticky. Cover with plastic wrap and leave at room temp for 3 hours or until dough has risen. It will have bubbles and look a little soft and wet.

Place dough on well-floured surface. Use a spatula to separate it from the bowl as dough will be very sticky. Sprinkle a little more flour on the top of the dough, just enough to keep it from sticking to your fingers. Give the dough a few folds, forming into a ball.

Place the formed ball onto a piece of parchment paper. Life the paper and dough and place into a 4 qt. slow cooker.

Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours or until internal temp reads 190-200º. Check the temp after 90 minutes if this is the first time you're making bread in slow cook. You will learn how long it takes your slow cooker to bake the perfect loaf.

The bread makes a soft outer layer. To brown crust, put under broiler for a few minutes to your liking.

Let bread cool before slicing.
