1 stick salted butter
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar or brownulated sugar
2/3 cup whole-wheat flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1-1/2 cups regular oats
1 lightly beaten egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 cup raisins
4-5 ounces bittersweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Melt butter and brown sugar. Stir until smooth. Add flour, baking soda, and oats. Add egg, vanilla, and raisins. Fold in chocolate chips, mix well. Spoon mixture by tablespoon onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake for 12 minutes until tops are dry to the touch.
