Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs. salmon fillets
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1 lemon juice and zest

Directions:
Directions:
Meat brown sugar, soy sauce, water, lemon juice and zest in saucepan. Boil uncovered, stirring occasionally, until sugar is melted. Marinade salmon in sauce for 10 minutes or more.
Meanwhile, soak pieces of untreated cedar plank in cold water for about 2 hours (weighing it with something heavy). Remove planks from water. Remove salmon from marinade and bake on planks until cooked in a 450º heated oven, allowing 10 minutes per inch thickness of fish.
Boil remaining marinade sauce until thickened. Serve salmon drizzled with sauce.
For grill cooking, place plank directly on grill. Close the lid and cook over medium-high heat for 5-10 minutes per side or until salmon flakes easily.
