1 envelope Knox Gelatin
1/2 c cold water
1/2 c sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c hot water
1/4 c mild vinegar (can use 1/2 water if desired)
green fruit coloring
1/2 c blanched slivered almonds
1/2 c stuffed olives, sliced
1/2 c crushed pineapple
1/2 c sweet cucumber pickles, sliced
mayonnaise to serve

In a mixing bowl, sprinkle gelatin on top of cold water. Add, sugar, salt and hot water. Once dissolved, add vinegar and green fruit coloring. When cool add, remaining ingredients, except mayonnaise. Chill. Serve with mayonnaise

Aunt "B"'s note reads: I followed this recipe, and mine didn't seem to be getting thick enough, so I added a package of lemon jell-o mixed with a cup of hot water. Good Luck.
