Five 16 oz. cans of beans. Choose from:
black-eyed peas, butter, garbanzos, great northern, kidney, lima, pinto, etc.
½ lb bacon
2 chopped onions
½ c. packed brown sugar
½ c. vinegar
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon is bite size pieces. Mix brown sugar, vinegar, garlic salt, and mustard, then pour over bacon and chopped onions in a pan.
Cook mixture for 10-20 min. over low heat. Place beans in a 3 quart casserole and pour bacon mixture over beans.
Bake casserole for 1-1½ hours at 350º
