2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
2 tbsp. sugar
1 egg, beaten with enough milk to make 1 cup
Directions:
Directions:
Cut flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar into shortening as if you were making a pie. Add milk and egg mixture all at once and mix quickly and gently. Pat out onto a greased cookie sheet to about 1/2-inch thickness. Bake at 400º for 12-18 minutes. Will start to turn a very light brown.
