"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup salted butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 (3.4 ounce) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix, dry
2 eggs (at room temperature)
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup white chocolate chips ( could also substitute more chocolate chips)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º F.

Cream together butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Stir in instant dry pudding mix and vanilla.

Beat in 1 egg at a time.

In a separate bowl mix together flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Then slowly stir into wet ingredients. Then stir in the chocolate chips.

Line baking sheet with baking mat, parchment, or foil and then spoon dough onto the baking sheet. I use a small cookie dough scoop ( about 1 teaspoon).

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are set. You want the center to look a little undone.

Let sit on pan for 2 minutes and then remove to a cooling rack.

* I have thought about adding nuts and other kinds of chips.

Personal Notes:
I found these cookies and was very interested because Charles likes soft cookies and these definitely fit the definition of a soft cookie.
