1 1/2 c. pumpkin
3/4 c. sugar (skant)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 - 1 tsp. ginger
1 - 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. cloves
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/4 c. milk
2/3 c. evaporated milk (adjust milk for runny pumpkin - usually "homemade" pumpkin)
1 uncooked pie shell

Mix ingredients in large bowl in order listed, adding milk last; it will be runny. Pour into unbaked pie crust. Bake at 400 for about 50 minutes. Insert knife 1-inch from center; if it comes out clean, pie is done.
