stewing beef
potatoes cut into quarters
carrots sliced
celery sliced
onions (cook whole if small or cut in half if large)

beef broth
1 large can whole tomato
salt and pepper to taste
corn starch
Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef in a small amount of oil.
Add beef broth and vegetables.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Cook until potatoes are fork tender.
Mix two tbsp. of corn starch with water.
Add to stew to thicken.
