Ingredients:  
1 pound lean ground beef
1/4 cup diced onion
pressed garlic to taste
salt and pepper to taste
add mint and oregano to taste
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all the above ingredients together and form into golf balls. Fry a small chopped onion with garlic in a pot then add the balls and cover with water. Cook on medium for about 5 minutes then add 1 can -28 ounces diced tomatoes, along with carrots and potatoes to taste (and optional). Simmer until cooked.

Mom made this when they spent Christmas with us Dec 2015. I hope the recipe is right...guess i should of watch her make it. It was delish!!
