Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 9-inch frozen pie crust or make your own
1 cup water
1 cup white granulated sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup strawberry jello
1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

Directions:
Directions:
1. Prebake pie crust according to package directions. Prick the inside of the pie crust all over and bake at 400F for 10-15 minutes.
2. Cool to room temperature.
3. Wash and hull strawberries, and cut them in half or smaller
4. In a saucepan, over medium-high heat, add water, sugar, cornstarch & strawberry jello.
5. Whisk together until thoroughly combined.
6. Whisk mixture constantly while heating to prevent clumping or scorching until mixture begins to come to a gentle boil.
7. Remove pan from the heat and allow the glaze to cool. As glaze cools, it will become translucent in color and should thicken a little.
8. Whisk it occasionally as it cools. It will be thickening but still pourable.
9. Add sliced berries to the baked and cooled pie crust.
10. Pour strawberry glaze over berries.
11. Make sure it gets between the nooks and crannies of the berries.
12. Chill pie in the refrigerator at least 2-3 hours before serving.

When ready to serve, dollop each slice with some whipped cream.
