1 cup Corn Meal - yellow is best :-)
1 cup flour
¼ cup sugar
½ tsp salt
4 tsp. Baking Powder
2 eggs
1 cup milk or buttermilk
¼ cup shortening or vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients. Add milk, eggs and shortening or oil. Beat until smooth. Bake in a greased (buttered) 8-inch pan at 425 degrees in oven for 20 - 25 minutes.
