1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Butter
1/4 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
3 Cup Flour
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Powder Sugar
Jelly

Directions:
Directions:
--Cream butter, sugar and salt.
--Add cream of tartar, baking powder, flour, eggs and vanilla. mix well.

--Chill for about half an hour.

--Preheat oven to 350
--Roll dough out on floured board or pastry sheet.
Cut two for each cookie, using a small cutter remove center of one. Or use Linzer cookie set.

--Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.

--Cool on Rack.
--Put Jelly between halves. Sprinkle top with powder sugar.
