Ingredients:

1 T oil
1 can plum tomatoes with juice
2 cans tomato paste (or for SCD boiled down tomato juice)
2 cups of beans – navy, kidney, black (boil first 20-30 minutes, then rinse)
2 onions, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
4 cloves garlic, crushed
3 T chili powder
1 T oregano
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne or 1 jalapeno or chipotle pepper without seeds, chopped (adjust to taste)
1/4 tsp pepper, 1 tsp salt
2 T fresh cilantro and/or parsley

Mix everything together in a heavy casserole pot; bake at 350°F covered for 2-3 hours.
