1/2 cup butter (or margarine)
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/2 tsp soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup quick


Topping: 1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2-5 tbsp milk
1/4 cup peanut butter

Directions:

Cream the butter and sugar together. Blend in egg, peanut butter, soda, salt and vanilla. Then add the flour and the quick oats. Spread in an ungreased cookie sheet by placing wax paper on top of the dough and spreading it out to cover the entire cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 13-15 minutes.


While the cookie base is cooking, mix the powdered sugar, milk and peanut butter in a small bowl.


When the cookie comes out of the oven, pour the chocolate chips on the top of the warm cookie. Let them melt a few minutes, then spread the melted chocolate over the top. Pour your small bowl mixture over the top and spread it out.

Cut into bars while still warm.
