1 Plain Pastry
4 slightly beaten eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/4mtsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 cups scalded milk
Nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Chill 9-inch pie shell while making filling. Blend eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla and almond.
Gradually stir in scalded milk. Pour into unbaked and chilled pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake in hot oven (400º) 25-30 minute or till done. Pie is done when knife inserted in middle of pie comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool on rack 15-30 minutes. Chill.
