Perfect Scalloped Oysters Recipe

1 pint oysters
2 cups cracker crumbs, medium coarse (I use white saltines)
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 tsp. celery salt (or plain salt, if desired)
Dash pepper
2 tsps. chopped parsley
3/4 cup cream
1/4 oyster liquor
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Drain oysters, reserving liquor. Combine crumbs, butter, salt, pepper and parsley. Spread 1/3 of the buttered crumbs in a greased 8x1¼" round pan. Cover with half of the oysters.
Using another third of the crumbs, spread a second layer; cover with remaining oysters.
Combine cream, oyster liquor and Worcestershire Sauce. Pour over oysters. Top with last of crumbs. If desired, sprinkle top with paprika.
Bake in moderate oven (350º) for 40 minutes.
