1/2 stick butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup of canned pumpkin
1 cup sifted flour
1-1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp, nutmeg
1 pinch ginger
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp. baking powder

You can also double this recipe for more cookies.

Preheat oven to 350º. Cream butter. Add sugar gradually. Cream until light and fluffy. Add egg and pumpkin; mix well. Sift flour, baking powder, and spices together. Add raisins and nuts. Drop on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º about 15 minutes.
