2 sticks butter, softened
1 tablespoon cream cheese
3 eggs
Approx. 3-1/2 - 4+ cups flour
2 heaping teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Almost 1/4 cup milk
1 cup sugar
Nonpareils or sprinkles (optional)

Icing: Powdered sugar, milk, almond extract. Mix ingredients together until medium/thick consistency.
Note: I use approx. 1 cup powdered sugar, a couple drops of milk, and 2 tsps. almond extract.

Preheat oven to 350º. In a large bowl add 2 sticks softened butter. Add sugar and cream cheese (mix with spoon). Add eggs one at a time. Add baking powder and vanilla, mix well. Add 1st cup of flour with a little bit of milk and mix with hands. Add each additional cup of flour with a little milk. Continue mixing by hand and add a little more flour (no more milk) until dough is not too sticky. Roll into little balls and place on greased cookie sheet.

Bake for approx. 12-14 minutes or until light brown on bottom. Cool on wire racks.

Brush icing on cooled cookies. Before icing dries top with nonpareils or sprinkles if desired.
