3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons salt
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoon poultry seasoning
1 egg beaten

Mix dry ingredients and add vinegar
Beat in the egg
Whisk while adding oil

This sauce was meant to baste the chicken while grilling chicken quarters or halves and is enough for 5 pr 6 halves. I also baste chicken once again on the plate and then cover

Acid in vinegar cooks the egg.
Refrigerated sauce will keep for a week.

Best served with a Dinner roll
Sliced sour pickles
Grilled chicken
And a small bag of chips
