2 cups raisins
½ cup sugar
½ cup finely chopped nuts
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cup water
2 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
pastry for 9 inch two layered crust

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan heat raisins and water to boiling. Cook 5 minutes. Blend sugar and flour. Stir into raisin mixture. Heat to boiling over medium heat stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in nuts, lemon peel and juice. Pour hot filling into pastry lined pie pan. Cover with top crust--cut slits in top. Seal and flute. Cover edges with ⅔ inch strip of aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning. Remove foil last 15 minutes of baking. Bake 30 to 40 minutes until crust is nicely browned.
