1 box vanilla cake
1 box instant vanilla pudding
fresh strawberries, approximately 1 pint
1 C milk
8 oz Cool Whip

Directions:
Prepare cake according to box recipe.

Puree fresh berries- you can add a little lemon juice and sugar if you like.

While cake is warm poke holes generously and pour puree evenly over the top. Take the milk and pudding and mix until thick. Then fold in cool whip. Once cake is cooled frost cake. Garnish with thin slices of strawberries if desired.
