3 cup Sugar
¾ cup Light Corn Sugar
¾ cup Water
¼ tsp Salt
2 Egg Whites
¼ package Cherry-Flavored Gelatin
1 tsp Vanilla
1 cup Chopped Walnuts
1 cup Flaked Coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Butter sides of 2 quart saucepan. Add in sugar, corn syrup, salt and water. Cook, stirring constantly until sugar is devolved and mixture comes to a boil. Cook to hard boil stage (250°F) without stirring. Remove from heat. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually beat in dry gelatin. Pour hot syrup slowly into egg whites constantly on high speed of electric mixture until soft peaks form. Stir in nuts and coconut. Drop teaspoon of mixture onto waxed paper or foil to cool.
