2 cups flour
½ tsp cream of tartar
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ cup softened butter
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup powered sugar
½ cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt in a bowl and set aside. Beat the butter, oil and sugars in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla and beat well. Add flour mixture, beating at low speed until well mixed.

Drop dough by rounded teaspoonful's onto a baking sheet. Sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake at 375º for 8 - 10 minutes
