1 ¼ cups of flour
1 ¼ cups of quick cooking oats
½ cup sugar
¾ cup melted butter
½ tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla


1 (10 oz. jar] apricot preserves
⅓ cup coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all 6 base ingredients and beat at low speed until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup for the topping. Press remaining into a buttered 9 x 13 pan. Spread the preserves over top and sprinkle the coconut over this. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs.

Bake at 350º 22 to 27 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely and cut into bars.
