1½ sleeves saltine crackers
1¼ c. unsalted butter, not margarine
1¼ c. light brown sugar
1- 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips or 1-8 oz. pkg. milk chocolate toffee bits
1 c. chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds)

preheat oven to 400º. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil that has been sprayed with a bit of non stick spray. Lay crackers out on sheet in one layer. In a medium sized saucepan melt the butter and brown sugar. Stir often and bring to a full rolling boil. Boil the mixture for exactly 3 min. Pour over the saltines and bake for 5 min. Add chocolate and nuts while still hot and smooth out
